Spiral Galaxy

This painting is my interpretation of a spiral galaxy, like the Milky Way, Messier 95, NGC 2903, or the Pinwheel Galaxy. The older area of the galaxy (the bulge) is in the center, and is composed of older stars, and the spiral arms are normally where new stars are being created.
