After a little break, I'm going back on the Tour this year! The dates are the first two weekends in November: 4-5 and 11-12 (noon to 6pm). I'll be a guest at Andrea Loomis' studio in NW Austin at 8303 Pommel Dr. and would love to see everyone who's in town! I'm debuting a new series of abstract drawings called "Kaleidescapes"-- something a little different, but true to my love and fascination with abstract art (Miro; Mondrian; Calder). Hope you can make it, or message me, and let's talk Art!

My host this year for the tour was Andrea Loomis Art Studio, and it was fabulous! We exhibited during all three weeks of the Tour (1st 3 weekends of November), and were finally able to 'talk art' with the public after a Loooong break! I showcased my new series of abstract drawings, "Isolation Creations," which were created during the lockdown; Andrea exhibited her exotic glass creations; our friend Kevin Luo displayed his beautiful Chinese calligraphy, and emerging artist (and YouTuber) Alia Jehan showed off her pop-culture inspired paintings! What a blast!

The Austin Studio Tour is going virtual for the very first time! This year, the "East" and "West" tours are combined into one virtual package from 11/14-11/22. It's that time of year again for all art and science enthusiasts: Art Science Gallery's Annual Trading Card Show is on the horizon! The show opens on Saturday, December 5th, and runs through Tuesday, December 22nd.

All artwork has been donated by the artists to the Gallery to help them defray the costs of their scientific and artistic educational activities held throughout the year. I will have six brand new pieces in this show, and hope you'll be able to come out and see them!

I'm excited to be exhibiting a series of new paintings at the West Austin Studio Tour, which will be held on the weekends of May 9-10, and 16-17th. My themes range from the microscopic to the interstellar, so if you love science art, you're in for a treat!

The gallery will be open from 11:00am-6pm, and will have live music every afternoon, along with food and beverages. There will be lots of art at this venue from other wonderful artists, so come on out and browse or shop!

Due West is the premiere event for the West Austin Studio Tour, and will run throughout the dates of the tour (May 9-10 and 16-17).

The opening reception will be held on Thursday, April 30th from 7:00-10:00pm at the University Park building at: goo.gl/maps/BIc9G. The reception will feature live music, and food and drinks from local restaurants. There is a fee only for the reception: all other days of the show are free!

All of the artists participating in the West Austin Studio Tour will have one piece exhibited for sale at Due West, and part of the proceeds will go toward funding Big Medium and the shows it runs all year.

Due West is also the first place where you can obtain a catalog of all the artists and studios who'll be participating in West.

This exciting show opens at the Dougherty Arts Center on Friday, October 31st! The exhibition features artwork created by members of the Creative Arts Society, the oldest and largest artists' organization in Austin. I am very happy that two of my paintings were juried into this show!

The Austin Visual Arts Association is presenting its annual Fall Show beginning Friday, October 24, and ending Saturday, November 22. I am very excited that one of my paintings was juried into this show!

For one day only, the Tesla Project is coming to Austin! Hosted by the Canopy art complex, the day will be devoted to all things Tesla: the famous Roadsters, a working Tesla coil, a juried art exhibition, loads of fun and electrifying activities, as well as local bands, food and drinks!
