Abstract > 2025 CityScapes

In CityScapes, a skyline becomes a laboratory for rotation. Some compositions resolve in two directions, others in three, and a few achieve full four-way orientation. The series documents a growing dialogue between symmetry and surprise, constraint and discovery.

Each drawing was executed independently, yet the works are intended to function collectively. The accompanying collage presents all four orientations of CityScapes VI, while suggesting the many other configurations possible in display.
